Cooler Fan Not Working

Cooler fan not working. The other fans are still working though. They normally always start spinning when i boot it up. Do not use it on your lap. When i first connected the cooler it was connected through the fan hub into cpu fan header.

When i am using my computer my case fans are not spinning at all. And all the fans in my system showed up as cpu fan and sys fan in bios though all others fan were connected only through cpu fan. The wires going into the fan can also get in the way of the fan blades and prevent it from spinning these fans don t have a lot of torque.

There is no reason why the fan stops suddenly after a bootup. If your cpu fan does not spin the issue could be anywhere from the fan the motherboard to the power supply unit. You should place your laptop on a firm level.
